Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely in 4 divisions

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during next 48 hours commencing 2 pm on Monday.

“Under the influence of Active Monsoon heavy (44- 88mm/24hours) to very heavy ( 88mm/ 24hours) rainfall is likely to occur at places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during next 48 hours commencing from 02 PM,” said a Met office bulletin.

Due to heavy to very heavy rainfall temporary waterlogging may occur at places over Chattogram metropolitan areas and landslide may occur at places over the hilly regions of Chattogram division.
