International friendly: BD will face Vietnam

Bangladesh will play a FIFA international friendly match against Vietnam on March 26. After completing the away fixture, Team Bangladesh will travel to play against Singapore.
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) had contacted three countries to have the national football team play a friendly match before the final match of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers against Singapore.
The BFF had officially announced that either Cambodia or East Timor would be the team.
However, in the end, neither of those two countries would be Bangladesh’s opponent in the friendly match.
Vietnam are going to be Hamza & Co in the friendly match; BFF source has revealed this information on Monday.
The match against Singapore will be held in Kallang City, Singapore on March 31. The BFF had announced that the team would play a friendly match in Sylhet and then travel to Singapore on March 28.
Now there is a change in that schedule. The match against Vietnam will be played on their own soil on March 26.
If everything goes well, Cabrera’s team will go to Singapore to play a match against Vietnam. BFF has not yet officially announced the new schedule for the national team.
The Asian Cup qualifying mission began with a match against India in Shillong, India on March 25, 2025, and will end with a match against Singapore on March 31.
Bangladesh played six matches so far, won its home match against India and drawn two matches.
