PIRGANJ , RANGPUR : Journalists of the Bangladesh Press Club, Rangpur district and Pirganj upazila units, led by President Anwar Hossain and General Secretary Syed Raihan Biplob, pay floral tributes to the martyrs at the Pirganj Central Shaheed Minar on Monday, marking the Great Victory Day. Family members of martyred freedom fighter Bir Abu Sayeed including his parents Makbul Hossain and Monowara Begum, and his brothers Ramzan Ali, Ruhul Amin and Abu Hossain were also present.

MIRZAPUR, TANGAIL : The great Victory Day on December 16 was inaugurated in the upazila on Tuesday with a 31-gun salute at sunrise at the Mirzapur police station premises, followed by the laying of wreaths at the ‘Muktir Mancha’ built at the upazila parishad complex. On behalf of the upazila administration, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Suraiya Yasmin, AC (Land) Tarek Aziz, and Officer-in-Charge Md Abdullah Al Mamun pays floral tributes to the martyred heroes.
