HC to resume work with 57 benches

Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury has formed 57 benches at the High Court (HC) Division to conduct judicial proceedings from Sunday, October 25.

Of the 57 benches, 19 are single-judge benches and 38 are double-judge benches, each assigned specific judicial jurisdictions, according to a Supreme Court notification signed by the chief justice.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will resume its regular activities on October 25 following the end of its vacation.
