Rashmika excited about biopic of music queen

The colourful life of legendary Indian classical musician and Bharat Ratna MS Subbulakshmi is all set to come to the big screen.

Popular South Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna is playing the title role in the biopic being made on her.

The film is being directed by ‘Jersey’ fame director Gautam Tinanuri. The film’s grand launch was held at the historic Music Academy in Chennai on the occasion of Subbulakshmi’s 110th birth anniversary.

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan was the chief guest at the event.

Rashmika is very excited to get the opportunity to play such a historical character.

Expressing her feelings, she said, “Standing on this stage feels like I am standing in front of God.”

She also said that she will give her all for the character and will try to give a performance that will leave a mark on the audience.
