Ityadi spotlights Jamalpur’s heritage in latest episode

The popular magazine show Ityadi has once again stepped outside the studio to explore Bangladesh’s rich history, heritage and cultural roots. The latest episode was shot in Jamalpur district.

A song-and-dance part presenting the district is also included in the program. The duet features vocals by Shithi Saha and Mizan Mahmud Rajib.

Ujjal Sinha composed and orchestrated the song, which was written by Moniruzzaman Palash. It was choreographed by SK Zahid. The performance features local Bengali and Garo dancers.

The episode features two musical performances. One song is performed by Pantha Kanai and other one is performed by Tosiba Begum Four audience members were chosen using a Jamalpur-based quiz.

The chosen competitors sang passages from four classic songs by four well-known Jamalpur cultural icons in the second section.

An uplifting human-interest report on the challenges of Ferdous Hasan Bappi and Osnai Khatun, a couple who overcome physical impairments and became self-reliant through their own hard work, will also be included in this episode.

The charming Chinese city of Suzhou will be highlighted in the foreign report segment, showcasing its exceptional fusion of modern technology and ancient tradition.

The new episode of Ityadi will be aired on Bangladesh Television on Friday (September 25) at 8 pm, following the Bangla news bulletin.

Regular segments such as Kashem TV’s journalist-grandson interaction and satirical sketches on social and contemporary issues also return in this episode.
