Balam’s album ‘Maula’ after a decade

Balam is not only a celebrated artist of his time but also a composer and music director. Recently, he won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the song “O Priyotoma” from the film Priyotoma.

From Warfaze to the band Renegades and then building a solo career, listeners have had the opportunity to rediscover Balam as both a singer and a music arranger.

After Bhubon, he released three more solo albums, along with mixed albums such as Prem Shikari, Andhar, The Gurus of Love, and Chhayashikari, the duet album Balam Featuring Julie, and solo songs like “Chupchap Charidik.” Many of his songs remain popular among music lovers to this day.

Recently, after a long decade, Balam announced the release of his full-length solo album Maula this coming Eid. He has composed and arranged every song on the album himself.
