Bank Asia organises training on income tax return filing’

Bank Asia PLC organized a day-long training program titled “Your Guide to Income Tax Return Filing” with the aim of enhancing employees’ knowledge and practical skills in income tax return filing, tax compliance and relevant regulatory requirements.

The training was held at the Bank Asia Institute for Training and Development (BAITD), Lalmatia, Dhaka recently.

The training session was conducted by Shahed Ahmed Chowdhury, Additional Commissioner of Taxes, National Board of Revenue (NBR).

During the session, he delivered valuable information and practical guidance on various aspects of income tax return filing, including relevant procedures, requirements and tax compliance.

The program also featured interactive sessions, practical exercises and knowledge-sharing discussions.
Through the day-long training program, participants gained a clearer understanding of the relevant procedures and regulatory requirements concerning income tax return filing.

The practical approach of the training also helped enrich their knowledge of tax-related matters relevant to both their professional and personal needs.

Officials from different departments of the Bank’s Corporate Office participated in the training program.
