Eastland Insurance: Annual Business Confece-2026

The Annual Business Conference-2026 of Eastland Insurance PLC held on Saturday at the Officers’ Club, in the city . Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman of the Company inaugurated the Annual Conference.
Mohammed Salim, Chief Executive Officer of the Company presented the performance report on yearly business of the company. The Company achieved 88 per cent of the Business target set for the year 2025 amid various economic challenges but saw a rise in turnover by 5 per cent compared to the previous year.
Vice Chairman, Rizwan Rahman appreciated the IDRA rules of 0 per cent commission to avoid unfair market competition. He requested all marketing officers to abide the IDRA guidelines despite unethical practices in the market, for the betterment of the insurance industry.
Eastland Insurance plc stepped into its 40th year of successful operation and since attained the height of sound financial strength and enviable goodwill. The event was concluded by a Mezbaan for the Company’s valued clients and well-wishers.
