Ferdous to get `Tele-Cine Award` for first time

Entertainment Report :Popular film actor of both Bangladesh and Kolkata Ferdous will receive ‘Tele-Cine Award’ from India for the first time. He will get this award for his contribution in the filed of cultural arenas of two Bengals for last 15 years. It was confirmed by President and General Secretary of ‘Tele-Cine Society’ Shubhasish Mukherjee and Mrinmoy Kanjilal respectively. They confirmed the matter giving a letter to Ferdous by e-mail recently. While sharing his feelings to inform the matter to get the award Ferdous told this correspondent, “After knowing the matter I am very glad. It is really an enjoyable moment for me. For the first time I am going to receive any big award from Kolkata. It is not only a pride for me but also for Bangladesh. I am grateful to ‘Tele-Cine Society’ to give me this honour.”Ferdous informed that to receive the award he will go to Kolkata either Saturday afternoon or Sunday night.It may be mentioned that the ‘Tele-Cine Award’ will be given 14th time this year. Ferdous acted first movie was Basu Chatterjee’s Hothat Brishti. But in Kolkata, his acted debut movie was ‘Ustad.’ It was directed by Subhash Sen. He also acted in Iqbal Durrani’s directed a Hindi movie titled Mitti. Recently his acted last movie in Kolkata was Park Street. Under John Halder’s direction he is acting against Rituparna Sengupta in movie Aro Ekbar. Indrani Halder and Rupa Ganguly are his co-actresses in the movie.Meanwhile, within very short time Ferdous will start dubbing of Moushumi’s directed movie Shunnyo Hridoy. He has already finished shooting of Dr Arup Ratan’s directed a movie titled Swargo Thekey Norok. Under Shimul’s direction works of movie Leader remain incomplete, Ferdous said.
