MBSTU holds training on curriculum management

A day-long training programme on curriculum management for Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) accreditation was held at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) on Monday as part of the university’s preparations to obtain accreditation.

Titled “Curriculum Management for BAC Accreditation,” the training was organised by the university’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the IQAC conference room.

Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Anisur Rahman spoke as the special guest at the inaugural session. The programme was chaired by IQAC Director Professor Dr Md Mostafa Kamal Nasir, while IQAC Additional Director Professor Dr Md Khairul Islam conducted the event.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Professor Dr Mohammad Motiur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Professor Dr Kaniz Mariam Akter, Chairman of the Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering Professor Dr Md Iqbal Mahmud.

and teachers from the Department of Management and Textile Engineering participated in the training.
The participants discussed various aspects of BAC accreditation, including institutional structures and support, course outline preparation, course file maintenance, revision of Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs), assessment strategies and quality assurance activities.

After the prayer and lunch break, participants received hands-on training on preparing course outlines.
The day-long programme concluded with a question-and-answer session, a quality assurance session and a closing ceremony.
