They are often beaten and hurt while entering the district town as they staged a human chain in the area protesting propaganda against Aimon Akbor Chowdhury, President of Saltha Upazila and son of the Deputy Leader of the House Syed Sajeda Chowdhury.
The intruders, who are basically members of BNP, Jamaat and Freedom Party, now trying to oppress the Awami League leaders, the local people said adding, they became hostile against Aimon Akbor because he opposed wrongdoings, extortion and corruption committed by derailed party people.
This started centering a straw incidence when a journalist Selim Molla of local daily Bangalee Khabor went in a personal clash with some locals, which later was resolved.
But the intruders into the ruling party used this for serving their purpose of protecting the war criminal convict Khokon Razakar and their allies.
