Bebe failed to truly make his mark in that star-studded Ferguson’s ‘dream team’. He did not get many opportunities to play for the Red Devils. Subsequently, Manchester United sent him out on loan to various clubs in Portugal and Turkey for four consecutive seasons.

Bebe spent the most settled period of his European club career in Spain. He dazzled on the pitch for a long time wearing the jersey of the Spanish club Rayo Vallecano. From there, he moved to his current club, Unión Deportiva Ibiza, a team in the Spanish Premier Division Group -1.

Born and raised in Portugal, this star once dreamed of playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo for the Portuguese national team. Although he played six matches for the Portugal U-21 squad. Bebe never made it to the senior team. Later, drawn by his roots, he joined the Cape Verde national team in 2022.

In 2026 World Cup qualifiers Bebe caught the attention of the global football community with his outstanding performances for the team. He has scored six goals in 26 appearances for Cape Verde.
