KUET holds midterm assessment workshop

Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) organised a workshop on the “Policy and Implementation of the Midterm Examination System for Undergraduate Programmes” to discuss the effective implementation of a structured and student-friendly assessment system on Wednesday.

The workshop was organised by the university’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).Speaking as the chief guest, KUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Mashud said an effective, transparent and student-centred evaluation system is essential to ensuring the quality of higher education.

He said the proper implementation of the midterm examination system would strengthen continuous assessment, improve students’ academic performance and contribute to enhancing the overall quality of education.

He also stressed the importance of commitment, accountability and cooperation among all stakeholders for the successful implementation of the system.
