Nora Fatehi faces case of Rs 3cr defamation
Nora Fatehi may have said the remark in jest while sitting on a plane.
But that comment has now reached the court. Indian aviation company Dunes Aviation has filed a defamation case of Rs 3 crore against Nora for her comment that the aircraft looks like a ‘Lego airplane’ and a small toy plane.
According to a report by Times of India, the case was filed in a court in Gandhinagar on September 7, 2026. The next hearing of the case is scheduled for September 25, 2026.
Dunes Aviation has claimed that the video posted on Nora’s Instagram has damaged its business reputation, with bookings falling by 15 to 20 per cent and flight cancellations increasing.
The incident took place in December 2025.
Nora was travelling in a Cessna Citation CJ2 aircraft of Dunes Aviation from Mumbai to Jaipur. She posted a video on Instagram, capturing some scenes from inside the plane during the journey.
In that video, Nora commented on the shape of the aircraft. She said it looked like a small toy plane and also referred to it as a ‘Lego airplane’.
