I think Argentina, Spain, France, Portugal and Germany are favourites in this FIFA World Cup 2026. five-time champions Brazil can do everything.

I hope any African team which qualified in this edition of World Cup can make upset in this year’s World Cup.

I think those teams, which I have preferred as the favourites, can reach at least semi-finals.

I think that FIFA, the highest governing body of world football has taken a positive initiative as they increased the participating countries in this World Cup.

As the 48 countries have got chance to play in this World Cup, these steps have made attractive. It is a good news that FIFA will retain their decision in next World Cups.

That means a huge number of countries will get chance to show their performance in the FIFA World Cup, which is called ‘Greatest Show on the Earth’.

I believe more countries from Asia will qualify in every World Cup. FIFA has taken the initiatives to stage the World Cup with 48 countries for not only globalization the football but also raise the craze of football.

In future if Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and the Government of Bangladesh take initiatives to nourish football properly and if BFF can supply a lot of tiny footballers in pipeline, it will not be absurd that Bangladesh can be able to play in the FIFA World Cup.

I started to love football as profession after watching the eye-catching performance of Diego Maradona in the FIFA World Cup 1992. Maradona made football craze in our country.

I watched performance of Rummenigge of Germany, Klinsmann of Germany. I watched their performance on television.

My favourite player in this World Cup is Lionel Messi. Messi’s teammates Alvarez and Martinez will also perform well. Messi is not only a scorer but also a playmaker.

I cannot predict about the performance of Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal. He will get the assist from his teammate. Ronaldo has the capacity to score, if he gets opportunity.

But Ronaldo is a scorer but not a playmaker. Mbappe of France will also shine in this World Cup.
