



Barrister Md. Abdus Salam, a lawyer of the Supreme Court, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society.
This was revealed in a notification signed by Mohammad Alamgir Haque, Assistant Secretary of the Non-Governmental Health Management-2 Branch of the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday (June 20).
The notification said that the President and the President of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society have appointed Barrister Md. Abdus Salam, a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, as the chairman of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society for a period of three years from the date of joining.
