Five districts get new SPs

The government has transferred 12 police officers of SP and equivalent ranks, including new postings for five districts-Panchagarh, Moulvibazar, Noakhali, Jhenaidah and Feni.

The transfer order was issued on Thursday by the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs in a notification signed by Deputy Secretary Nasrin Sultana.

According to the notification, several Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) deputy commissioners have been posted as Superintendents of Police (SP) in different districts.

DMP DC Abu Saim has been transferred to Panchagarh as SP, while DMP DC Monirul Islam has been posted to Moulvibazar. DMP DC N. M. Nasir Uddin has been transferred to Noakhali, and DMP DC Mia Mohammad Ashis Bin Hasan has been posted to Jhenaidah. CID SP Protyush Kumar Majumder has been made SP of Feni.

At the same time, Panchagarh SP Mizanur Rahman, Moulvibazar SP Riazul Islam and SP Mohammad Mahbub Alam Khan have been transferred to the Police Headquarters.

Noakhali SP T. M. Mosharraf Hossain has been transferred to CID, while the Jhenaidah SP has been posted to APBn. CID SP Rajib Farhan and Tourist Police SP Nihad Adnan Taian have been attached to the Rangpur Range office.

The reshuffle is part of a routine administrative transfer within the police force, officials said.
