Two fish traders killed in Bhairab road accident

At least two fish traders were killed in a collision between a pickup van and a motorcycle in Bhairab port town of Kishoreganj on Tuesday evening.
The accident occurred on the Syed Nazrul Islam Road Bridge.
The deceased were Abdullah Miah (38), son of Md. Dulal Miah of Chandib’s Dakshin Para area in Bhairab port town, and Md. Momen (35), son of the late Kalam Mia of the same area. Both were fish traders by profession.
Another rider, Nipu (37), was injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhairab Highway Police Station Sumon Kumar Chowdhury said that two people were killed in a collision between a pickup van and a motorcycle on the Syed Nazrul Islam Road Bridge.
He added that legal action is under process in connection with the incident.
