Dighi returns to big screen with ‘Biday’
Recently, actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi’s presence on the silver screen has been somewhat less.
Especially after last year’s movie ‘Jongli’, she has not been seen on the big screen.
After a long break and various controversies in her career, news of her new movie has finally come out.
It is reported that the heroine is returning to the screen with the movie ‘Biday’ directed by Mehedi Hassan.
It is being said that Dighi’s film will hit the theatres on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The work on the film is currently in its final stages.
Recently, Dighi told the media that some scenes and a song are still to be shot in Malaysia, the schedule of which will be finalised soon.
The film was supposed to be released on Eid-ul-Fitr last year, but it was postponed due to technical reasons.
However, the makers and crew are hopeful of presenting the film to the audience on Eid-ul-Azha this year.
Regarding talking the movie, Dighi said, “This is a film with a different and emotional story. Such stories are not often seen in our country. This is a film to watch with family.
I believe that the audience will remain with the story even after they leave the theatre after watching the movie. I am really happy to be a part of such a work.
I hope everyone will come to the theatre with their families and watch the movie.”
It is worth noting that there is no traditional hero in this film, rather the story is the main attraction here.
The shooting of the movie ‘Biday’ began in Sunamganj in October last year.
It is known that there is no single hero in the conventional sense in the movie ‘Biday’. Rather, the story has been given priority.
Along with Dighi, the film stars talented actors like Bapparaj, Faruk Ahmed, and Fazlur Rahman Babu.
The producer has informed that this is a film with a humanitarian and awareness story.
Meanwhile, apart from ‘Biday’, Dighi has completed work on a web movie directed by Suman Dhar, which is likely to be released on Eid-ul-Azha.
