CJ to cast vote at Dhaka Women College centre

Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury will exercise his voting rights at Dhaka Mahila College centre in Dhanmondi in the 13th national parliament election on Thursday.

The Chief Justice is scheduled to cast his vote by 9:30 am tomorrow, Supreme Court Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee confirmed the media of the matter.

Voting for the election and referendum will be held simultaneously in 299 parliamentary constituencies across the country from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm tomorrow. Authorities have completed necessary preparations to ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of voting across the country.

Supreme Court Registrar General Habibur Rahman Siddiqui confirmed the matter on Wednesday. He said the chief justice is scheduled to cast his vote at the Dhanmondi Women’s College polling centre at around 9:30am on Thursday. Meanwhile, advisers of the interim government will cast their votes in their respective constituencies.

Ahead of the polls, relevant polling centre details have already been communicated from various ministry offices to those concerned.
