DExSA forms ad-hoc committee

The Dhanmondi Govt. Boys’ High School Ex-Students’ Association (DExSA) is pleased to announce the formation of an 11-member ad-hoc committee, which has officially assumed its responsibilities to invigorate the association’s activities and contribute to the overall development of the school. This initiative aims to fulfill the long-standing aspirations of the alumni community, known as DExSANs, and guide the organization toward a new era of growth.

The formation of the Ad-Hoc Committee was unanimously approved during a general meeting held on January 10, 2026, presided over by Dr. Md. Muhiuddin Osmani of the 1980 batch. The newly formed committee is led by Mr. Ehtesham H. Khan (Batch of 1984) as Convener and Mr. Mahfuz Bin Yusuf (Batch of 1996) as Member Secretary.

The committee held its inaugural meeting on February 2, 2026, at the Impetus Lounge in Tejgaon. Key discussion points included the official registration of DExSA, planning for the school’s upcoming 60th-anniversary celebration, and strategies for the institution’s holistic development.

The committee’s primary objective is to uphold the school’s esteemed heritage and foster a stronger sense of unity and fraternity among its alumni.
In addition, an Advisory Panel has been established to provide strategic guidance to the association, with Mr. Shish Haider Chowdhury (Batch of 1980) serving as the Chief Advisor.

Advisory Panel consisting Ferdous Wahid (Legendary Singer & Cultural Icon), Shish Haider Chowdhury (Secretary, ICT Division), Prof Mobasser Monem (Chairman, BPSC) and Syed Hasanur Rahman (Legendary Singer & Musical Icon).
