Md. Siddiqur Rahman takes charge as Acting MD of Standard Bank

Md. Siddiqur Rahman, the Deputy Managing Director Chief Operating Officer of the Bank, has taken charge as Acting Managing Director of Standard Bank PLC.

Rahman joined the Shari`ah-based Standard Bank as DMD in August 2023 and has played a pivotal role in strengthening the Bank’s Shari’ah-based framework, Operational efficiency and risk management practices.

Prior to Standard Bank, he served as Deputy Managing Director, CRO CAMLCO of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC.
