Mouni Roy harassed during performance

Bollywood actress Mouni Roy has been publicly harassed by elderly members of audience while attending an event in Haryana, India.

The actress has expressed her anger on social media over the incident.

Bringing up the issue of her safety and female dignity, Mouni said on social media that before she went on stage, two elderly men tried to take pictures with their hands on her waist.

Although she directly protested and asked them to remove their hands, the situation did not normalise.

Later, during the performance, the men in the front row continued to make obscene comments and gestures at the actress.

Not only that, when Mouni asked them to calm down, they started throwing roses on the stage. She blamed mismanagement of the organisers and she performed for the sake of professionalism.
