Gas supply rises to 2.61bcf
Gas supply to the national grid increased to 2.61 billion cubic feet (bcf) at noon on Tuesday, according to data from the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
Of the total supply, 1.62bcf came from domestic sources, while 0.99bcf was supplied as liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Petrobangla data showed that gas supply stood at 2,320 million cubic feet (mmcf) at 6pm on Friday.
It rose to 2,362mmcf at 6pm on Sunday and further increased to 2,375mmcf at 6pm on Monday.
Of Monday’s total supply, 1,611mmcf came from domestic sources, while 764mmcf was supplied as LNG.
