‘Sinners’ sets a record in Oscar history

The film ‘Sinners’, directed by Ryan Coogler, has made history at the Academy Awards. At the 98th Academy Awards, the horror film received nominations in a record-breaking 16 categories, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Original Score, and Best Cinematography. With this achievement, ‘Sinners’ has surpassed a long-standing Oscars record. Previously, All About ‘Eve’ (1950), ‘Titanic’ (1997), and ‘La La Land’ (2016) each held the record with 14 nominations.
