Chamak opens up about death threats

Many of the country’s top stars reacted to the attack on Sharif Osman bin Hadi, the spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha, on social media.

One of them, actress Rukaiya Jahan Chamak, said that she had received death threats for a post she had made wishing Hadi a speedy recovery and condemning the incident.

Chamak said that she is being directly threatened from a Facebook account.

She also alleged that her personal phone number has been leaked. She expressed deep concern about this.

The actress released a video message about this. She said that she has received hundreds of calls so far; she is being threatened with death.

In the video, she is heard saying, “I think I have at least done something for the country.

And if they really kill me, then it will be a beautiful gift from Allah. It will be a martyr’s death.”

Addressing her fans and well-wishers, the actress said, “Many are telling me to stay safe. Don’t worry about me. I’m not worried about it.

If I really die, it will be with pride. And I won’t even sit at home in fear of being shot.”
