Oindrila returns hosting after a break

Oindrila is the younger daughter of legendary Bangladeshi film actor Bulbul Ahmed, widely known as a great hero of Bangladeshi cinema. From an early age, she has been involved in acting and singing. At one stage, she also became actively engaged in television hosting. After a break since 2017, Oindrila has returned to hosting on BTV with the cooking-based program ‘Amader Rosui Ghar’.

The program recently began airing twice a week, every Sunday and Monday. Oindrila said, “At this moment, I am busy with BTV’s program ‘Amader Rosui Ghar’. Since it is broadcast twice a week, with eight episodes every month, I need to devote a considerable amount of time to this show.”

Regarding her return to acting, Oindrila said, “I will return to acting if the story is beautiful and the character is beyond the conventional type. I enjoy acting the most. Even now, many fans and viewers request me to act again. I want to tell them that I will definitely return to acting if I get a good story and a strong character.”
