Singer-actor Mukul Jamil passes away

Singer-actor Mukul Jamil, a well-known face of Dhaka showbiz, has passed away.

He breathed his last suddenly on Sunday night. His death has cast a shadow of grief over the music and acting world.

The Actors’ Equity Bangladesh, an organisation of TV drama actors, has also expressed condolences.

The message said, “Mukul Jamil, a respected member of the Actors’ Equity, has passed away.

We pay tribute to his departed soul. We are deeply saddened by his passing.”

Mukul Jamil was interested in Rabindra Sangeet since childhood. He came to singing with the help of his sister.

He has worked on more than 30 mixed albums in his career.

He has also done a solo album, titled ‘Ami To Emoni’. In acting, he has worked in many dramas and movies in addition to various music videos.
