Robi profit jumps 200pc in Jan-Sep

Robi Axiata Limited’s net profit jumped 200% in the January-September period this year.

In the first nine months of 2023, its net profit was Tk172 crore and earnings per share Tk0.33, which was Tk57 crore and Tk0.11 respectively a year ago, the second largest mobile telecom operator reported on Wednesday.

During the period, its revenue also grew over 17% to Tk7,431 crore compared to the same period last year.

Besides, its profit jumped over 250% to Tk106 crore in the July-September quarter compared to the previous year.

Its revenue also grew over 15% to Tk2,543 crore in the third quarter of this year.
