A new type of virus is coming…are
you infected? Keep an eye on Chorki’s Facebook page to know. A poster with such a caption was published on Sunday evening from the official page of OTT Platform, Chorki. There is a lot of
discussion going on among the audience about the poster since the night.
The poster is of Chorki’s original series ‘Virus’. The series is made by the
director Anam Biswas who is famous for ‘Debi’ and ‘Dui Diner Duniya’. The series will be released on Chorki soon.
Director Anam Biswas said on the question of
creating a ‘virus’ from which idea, he told this correspondent, “I wanted to tell a story for the people who eat rice in the digital age, which makes them think a little bit. It was so hot and sunny during the entire shooting, luckily
no one escaped. (He kept laughing). And did not run away means that the story did not leave, they were inside the story.”
The poster shows Shamol Mawla
covering half of her face with a sheet. The other half is infected with the virus.
Actor Shamol Mawla said about his character in this series, “The basis of working in ‘Virus’ is Anam Biswas. I was willing to work with him. And also my character here is completely different. The audience will understand that the story is a little different. I hope those who like variety will like it.”
Noted actor Tariq Anam Khan is seen in the poster. This is his first work with Chorki. Telling his own experience, he said, “The ‘Virus’ presents a different kind of story this time. I like working with such an energetic director and team. The content will be enjoyable
for the viewers.”
Sharif Siraj, Rashed Mamun Apu, Golam Farida Chhonda, Christano Tanmoy, Marshia Shaon, Tupur and many others have also acted in
this series. Along with this, a group
of students from Dhaka University acted in this series.
