Light to moderate rain with gusty wind likely at some places

Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Chattogram, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to a met office release with weather forecasting for the next twenty-four hours beginning from 9am on Wednesday, reports BSS.
Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 32.6 degree Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature on Wednesday was recorded by 16.3 degree Celsius at Tetulia.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am yesterday was recorded by 82 millimeters (mm) at Feni.
