Bangladesh suffer 1-6 defeat against UAE in FIFA Int’l Friendly match

Bangladesh National Football team suffered a 1-6 goals defeat against stronger United Arab Emirates (UAE) team in a FIFA International Friendly match at Jayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
The match was locked in 1-1 goals in the first half.
Bangladesh went down by a solitary goal in the 22nd minute but promising striker Jibon leveled the margin for Bangladesh few minutes later, capitalizing on a Jewel Rana pass (1-1).
Bangladesh team left Dhaka for Abu Dhabi Wednesday night (Mar 16) en-route to Jordan to play their last Group-B match of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Jordan in Amman on March 24.
Bangladesh has already been eliminated from the race as they were placed bottom in the five-nation Group B securing only one point after playing seven home and away matches.
World cupper Australia topped the group list securing 15 points from six matches, Jordan followed them with 13 points from six encounters, Kyrgyztan bagged eleven points from seven outings and Tajikistan earned five points from seven matches.
