SHIBGANJ, CHAPAINABABGANJ: Seeds and chemical fertilizers were distributed among 325 small and marginal farmers in Shibganj of Chapainawabganj under agricultural incentives programme for Kharip/2 Summer Season in 2022-23 FY to increase production of onion crop organized by the Directorate of Agriculture at the Upazila Agriculture Office of Shibganj. Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer Dr. Abu Bakr Siddique inaugurates the distribution program on Sunday.

LALMOHAN, BHOLA: Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon, MP as chief guest hands over cheques to the patients at a function to distribute medical assistance cheques worth about Tk. 22 lakh among 44 patients suffering from various complicated diseases, including cancer living in Lalmohan upazila of Bhola. The event was held at the Lalmohan upazila Social Service office, organized by the Department of Social Services with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Anamika Nazrul in the chair on Saturday.

GOMASTAPUR, CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Eleven thousand 460 farmers are being encouraged in agriculture this fiscal year In Gomstapur of Chapainawabganj. As part of this, seeds and fertilizers were officially handed over to the farmers on Saturday. On this occasion, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Asma Khatun presided over the opening ceremony organized by Upazila Agriculture Department. Member of National Parliament Ziaur Rahman was the chief guest with Rahanpur Municipal Mayor Matiur Rahman Khan was the special guest.
