Workshop on political harmony in Rangpur

Civil society, youth representatives and political party leaders have urged to make Rangpur an example of political harmony. The participants raised this demand from a workshop titled ‘Planning to Advance the Culture of Political Harmony’ held at the conference room of Democracy International Rangpur office on Thursday.
The workshop was organized by the Rangpur Regional Office of Democracy International under the ‘Bangladesh Strengthening Political Accountability for Citizen Empowerment’ project funded by UK Aid.
The workshop was attended by members of the Multiparty Advocacy Forum (MAF) Rangpur consisting of members of three major political parties, including students and representatives of youth organizations from various universities and colleges in Rangpur city, most of them were women.
