Apurba set for Florida concert after New York show
Ziaul Faruque Apurba is increasingly focusing on music, taking a step back from acting.
Last August, he made his debut as a solo performer in the United States with a concert titled Apurba Musical Night at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center in New York.
He kept the audience entertained for nearly two hours with songs and stories. Following the success of the New York show, Apurba is now set to perform in Florida.
At his first US concert, Apurba performed several popular songs, including Hemanta Mukherjee’s Ei raat tomar amar, Souls’ Mon shudhu mon chhuyechhe and Keno ei nishongota, Bappa Mazumder’s Din bari jay, Feedback’s Moushumi and Nagar Baul James’s Baba.
After the New York concert, Apurba hinted that he would perform at more venues across the United States. He is now following through on that plan with his upcoming Florida show.
Apurba will take the stage at the 7th World Fair and Fest in Tampa, Florida, this December. The two-day festival will feature his performance on the second day, December 13, at 7:30 pm local time.
In a video message announcing the show, Apurba said, “After New York, I’m coming to Florida to perform for you. See you all for an evening of music and stories.”
