Nat’l Revolution & Solidarity Day observed at KUET

Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) observed the National Revolution and Solidarity Day with due dignity and solemnity through a series of programmes, including the hoisting of the national flag, an essay competition, a discussion meeting and a prize distribution ceremony.

The national flag was hoisted at the university’s administrative building, the Vice-Chancellor’s residence and various residential halls at sunrise on Saturday.

An essay competition highlighting the significance of the day was organised for students at 9:00 am. Later, the national flag was hoisted in front of the university’s administrative building at 10:00 am by the chief guest, KUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Masud, following the rendition of the national anthem.

A discussion meeting was held at the university auditorium at 10:30 am to highlight the historical significance of the day and its importance in national life.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Masud said, “National Revolution and Solidarity Day reminds us of the spirit of national unity, patriotism and collective responsibility. We must all work together for the welfare and progress of the country.”
