‘Hello Superstars’ valued at Tk 1,800cr
Bangladeshi-originated social media and digital entertainment platform “Hello Superstars” has reached a landmark valuation of approximately Tk 1,800 crore, marking a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s technology and innovation sector.
The valuation was officially conducted by Kazi Zahir Khan & Co, Chartered Accountants, an independent affiliate firm of Abacus Worldwide, USA.
The assessment followed investment interest expressed by prominent royal family members and business leaders from the Gulf region, particularly business magnate Sheikh Mohammad Al-Thani, regarding potential equity partnerships in the platform’s regional expansion.
Conceptualized and founded by Bangladeshi tech entrepreneur Dr. Kamrul Ahsan, Hello Superstars was designed to bridge the digital gap between ordinary people, rising talents, and global celebrities across diverse regions.
Moving beyond conventional social media features like posts, likes, comments, and follows, the platform functions as an integrated celebrity-fan engagement and talent discovery ecosystem.
Key features include direct digital communication with celebrities, personalized greetings, interactive entertainment, e-commerce integration, and a specialized digital audition system.
This audition feature allows young talents from remote domestic regions or abroad to showcase their skills in music, acting, sports, and other fields directly on a global stage, streamlining talent scouting through advanced digital infrastructure.
Reflecting on the platform’s vision, founder Dr. Kamrul Ahsan stated that technology and innovation should no longer be seen as the exclusive domain of Western nations, Silicon Valley, Europe, or China.
He emphasized that Bangladesh is fully capable of developing world-class technology for global audiences.
He noted that the current Tk 1,800 crore valuation is not an endpoint, but a vital stepping stone toward global expansion.
Hello Superstars is actively expanding its market presence, technological capabilities, content management, talent systems, and e-audition ecosystem.
The platform’s immediate strategic goal is to build a global community of 10 crore (100 million) active users by 2028.
Following this milestone, the company plans to induct strategic international and institutional investors, with a particular focus on the vast expatriate community in the Gulf and Middle East as a core growth market.
Looking further ahead, the platform’s ultimate milestone is to evolve into a unicorn tech company valued at $1 billion (approx. Tk 12,000 crore) by 2030.
Dr. Ahsan expressed that the ultimate success of Hello Superstars lies in proving that a Bangladeshi intellectual property can stand proudly alongside established global technology giants, inspiring a new generation of local entrepreneurs and innovators.
