Why Sadia Ayman is doing fewer TV Dramas
Sadia Ayman, one of the promising faces of the new generation of television actors, has been appearing in fewer dramas lately.
The actress says her decision to cut back on TV work stems mainly from the repetitive storylines and characters in many of today’s productions.
Asked whether she plans to continue working across television, OTT platforms and films, Sadia revealed that she has already reduced her involvement in TV dramas. Explaining her decision, she said she no longer finds most of the stories appealing.
There was a time when she received so many good scripts that choosing which ones to take on became difficult.
These days, however, the scripts coming her way rarely interest her. To avoid playing the same types of characters repeatedly, she has consciously decided to take on fewer drama projects.
Sadia believes actors should not limit themselves to a particular type of role but should instead explore diverse and challenging characters.
With a desire to bring something new to audiences, she is now focusing more on films, OTT productions and projects in different genres.
