BICM marks with investor awareness, fraud prevention

The Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM) and the Bangladesh Academy for Securities Markets jointly organised a seminar on investor awareness, market integrity and fraud prevention to mark World Investor Week 2026.

The seminar was held at BICM’s multipurpose hall on Sunday, where Associate Professor Faisal Ahmed Khan presented the keynote paper, titled “Smart Investing: Investor Awareness, Market Integrity and Fraud Prevention”, according to the press release.

The event aligned with this year’s World Investor Week themes of “Investor Resilience, Digital Deception and Scam Alert”. The global campaign, organised by the International Organization of Securities Commissions, carries the slogan “Invest in your future, protect it today”.
