Demand for heroines increases after divorce: Liana Lia
Liana Lia (Rajea Sultana Liana) is a fashion model and actress. She became well-known for her work in popular Bangladeshi music videos-such as ‘Dhoa’ with Imran and ‘Majhe Majhe’ with Prottoy Khan-alongside fashion house campaigns and TV commercials.
She has commented that the popularity, job opportunities and demand of many heroines and models in the entertainment industry increase after divorce.
Liana Lia claimed that the increase in new jobs, money, cars, houses, brand promotions and film work opportunities after divorce may be one of the reasons for the discussion surrounding divorce.
At the same time, she has criticised the tendency of married people to get involved in other people’s families.
Liana made these comments in her recent Facebook post.
Her post has opened up new avenues for discussion in the entertainment industry about divorce, extramarital affairs, and the complexities of relationships.
In a Facebook post, Liana Lia wrote, “After divorce in our industry, the demand for many heroines and models increases. They come into the spotlight, their work increases, their income increases.
They get new cars, new houses, work with many brands, and opportunities in movies.”
She also wrote, “When divorce becomes a topic of discussion, this could also be a reason behind the increasing number of divorces day by day because, if there are so many benefits after divorce, then divorce is better!”
The model also expressed her anger over the tendency of married men and women to be attracted to others and get involved in other people’s families.
She said, “Some men and women are very attracted to people who are married and have children.
Why do you have this mentality that you have to get involved with them, that you have to break up their families? It’s a completely bad mentality.”
Liana compared this type of behaviour to unwanted involvement in someone else’s life, writing, “This is very sad and a reality of our society today.”
She also expressed concern about the reluctance of young people to get married and the complexity of the relationships of married people.
She wrote, “The unmarried are not getting the courage to get married, and the married are enjoying life after getting divorced after getting involved in extramarital affairs. This is the ugliest trend.”
