Nahid Rana returns to practice

Nahid Rana was injured during the Zimbabwe series last month. After that, this promising pacer did not play in the historic Test series against Australia in Australia.

He went to Australia to take medication to a physician. Nahid started treatment for the injury after returning home. After that, his rehabilitation process is going on in the capital.

After all the procedures, Nahid was seen with the ball on Monday after a month and a half.

After recovering from a long injury, this speedster practiced bowling at the BCB-NCA Ground, which is adjacent to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur yesterday. Since it was his first practice on Monday, Nahid bowled a short run-up.

Since the rehabilitation process is ongoing, the Team Management of BCB does not want to take any risks with him right now.
Nahid is always under the supervision of physios.

BCB physio Bayjedul Islam Khan watched his practice from the side on Monday. Even though he returned to the field, Nahid is not fit to play matches for now.

It is known that he will be fit to play matches before the West Indies series in October. The selectors are also planning for him in the same way.

Bangladesh are scheduled to play a Tri-Nation series against Afghanistan and Zimbabwe before the West Indies series in October.

The selectors plan to bring Nahid back to the field during that series.

However, the Team Management of BCB is not interested to make any hurry to back Nahid to the field.
