Spl body formed to simplify visas for abroad edu’

Education Minister A.N.M. Ehsanul Haque Milan announced that a special committee has been formed within the Cabinet to simplify the visa process for students wishing to pursue higher education abroad.

He also claimed that students are facing fewer difficulties in obtaining visas compared to the past.

The Education Minister made these remarks on Sunday (August 30) following a meeting with the Foreign Minister and the Chinese Ambassador, Yao Wen. He stated that initiatives are underway to further streamline the visa process, aiming to facilitate skill development for local students and enable the recruitment of skilled teachers from China.

The Minister also mentioned that plans with significant potential for enhancing students’ technical skills were formulated during a recent visit to China. As part of this initiative, the government will launch a teacher exchange program with China to improve the linguistic proficiency of teachers.

The Education Minister stated that activities related to the education sector exchange program with China would become visible within the next one to one-and-a-half months. It is expected that this initiative will not only enhance the skills of students and teachers but also further strengthen educational cooperation between the two countries.
