Tk 5,102cr GCC budget announced

Gazipur City Corporation (GCC)’s budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year was announced. A budget of Tk 5,102 crore 35 lakh 8 thousand was announced at a budget meeting held at the Nagar Bhaban auditorium on Sunday afternoon.

The budget was presented by City Corporation Administrator Md. Shawkat Hossain Sarkar. The budget session was presided over by Chief Executive Officer Ms. Tanzila Khanam. City Corporation Accounting Officer Md. Golam Kibria presented a summary at the budget ceremony.

Chief Engineer Abdul Barek, Additional Chief Engineer Sudip Basak, Acting Secretary Mohammad Firoz Al Mamun, Regional Executive Officers of various zones and ward secretaries were present at the ceremony.

The budget announcement stated that the proposed budget of Tk 5,102 crore has been announced for the 2026-27 fiscal year of Gazipur City Corporation.
