Tribute paid to July martyrs in Nilphamari

Tributes were paid to the martyrs of the July Movement in Nilphamari on the occasion of July Martyrs’ Day 2026 on Thursday.

The district administration placed floral wreaths in memory of the martyrs. On behalf of the government, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nayiruzzaman, Police Super Md Farhad Hossain Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Nuzhat Tasnim Awn, and Nilphamari Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mubashwira Amatullah paid their respects.

Leaders of the Nilphamari district unit of the National Citizen Party (NCP) also paid tribute by laying floral wreaths.

The delegation was led by Convener Abdul Majid and Member Secretary Dr. Kamrul Islam Darpan.

Following the wreath-laying ceremony, participants paid solemn tribute to the martyrs of the July Movement and reaffirmed their commitment to preserving their memory for future generations.
