Nusraat Faria in web to play film actress

Following the success of her recently released song ‘Loke Bole’, actress Nusraat Faria is gearing up for a new web film.

The project, currently titled ‘Tutuler Taka’, will be directed by ‘Borbaad’ filmmaker Mehedi Hasan Hridoy. Produced by iScreen, the web film will feature Faria in the role of a popular film actress.

Speaking about the project, director Mehedi Hassan Hridoy said that ‘Tutuler Taka’ is only a working title and may be changed later.

He added that the team has been developing the story and characters for quite some time.

Commenting on the casting, Hridoy said, “I have spoken with Nusraat Faria, Chanchal Chowdhury, and Nasir Uddin Khan. Discussions are ongoing with everyone we want to cast, but the lineup has not been finalized yet.”

He also revealed that discussions regarding the shooting schedule will begin soon. “Once the casting is finalized, we plan to start filming as soon as possible.

We will share all the details with the media after everything is confirmed. The title ‘Tutuler Taka’ may also be changed before the official announcement,” he said.

Faria is no stranger to the OTT space. Her last OTT release was ‘Patalghar’, which premiered on Chorki three years ago. In the same year, her thriller ‘Bhay’ was released on the Indian streaming platform ZEE5.
