Five sports wheelchairs have been added for the country’s top-tier para-athletes through the initiative of the National Paralympic Committee of Bangladesh (NPC Bangladesh). Director (Sports) of the National Sports Council, Mohammad Zahed Parvez Chowdhury attended the wheelchair handover ceremony at the National Stadium on Monday as a chief guest. Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapol, President of the Archery Federation; Prof. Dr. Md. Monirul Islam of the Physical Medicine Department at Popular Diagnostic Centre; Dr. Maruf Ahmed Mridul, Secretary General of NPC Bangladesh; Md. Hedayetul Aziz, Joint Secretary General; Md. Asiful Hasan, Treasurer; and Md. Anwar Kabir Chowdhury, Executive Member also present on this occasion.
