




Bangladesh Frozen Foods Exporters Association (BFFEA) held a consultation meeting with the Director General of the Monitoring Cell under the Ministry of Finance to discuss the challenges and prospects of Bangladesh’s frozen food export sector.
The meeting was held at Shrimp Tower in Khulna on Thursday. Rahima Begum, Director General of the Monitoring Cell under the Ministry of Finance, attended the event as the chief guest, while Khulna Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Hure Jannat was present as the special guest.
The meeting was chaired by BFFEA Vice-President Sheikh Kamrul Alam. Acting President Md Tarikul Islam Jahir also attended, along with members of the association’s board of directors.
Among those present were directors M A Hasan Pappa, Md Jalal Uddin, Md Shafik Ullah Khan, Syed Badruzzaman and S M Humayun Kabir, as well as chairpersons, managing directors, directors, executive directors and general managers of the association’s member companies.
According to a BFFEA press release, participants exchanged views on the key challenges facing the frozen food export industry, its future prospects and the measures needed to ensure the sector’s sustainable growth.
