Premier Football League: Mohammedan beat BJMC 2-1

Came from behind, Dhaka Mohammedan SC registered a 2-1 goals victory over Team BJMC in their 2nd leg match of the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier Football League at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
With the day’s feat, Mohammedan SC remained at the 2nd slot comfortably securing 26 points from 12 matches while Team BJMC remained at 9 points, also playing 12 matches.
After a barren first half, Nigerian forward Eleta Kingsley put Team BJMC ahead in the 59th minute of the match by a placing shot, utilizing a through pass of another Nigerian Samson Illiasu (1-0).
Guinean forward Ismael Bangoura equalized the margin for Mohammedan in the 79th minute by a header, off a curved a cross from winger Jewel Rana
( 1-1).
Jewel Rana scored the match winning goal for the traditional black and white Mohammedan SC in the 87th minute, also by a header, capitalizing on a pass of Cameroonian midfielder Kalinga Amabara (2-1).
Team BJMC could have taken the lead in the 33rd minute, but a good shot of their forward Zakir Hossain Ziku, was nicely saved by Mohammedan goalie Ashraful Haque Rana diving to the right.
In the 45th minute, the Nigerian forward of BJMC Elita Kingsley saw his shot went straight to the Mohammedan goalie Rana.
BJMC had another chance to score in the 67th minute, but their forward Nabib Nawaz Jibon’s shot was saved by Mohammedan goalie Ashaful Haque Rana.
