Palestinian Statehood Bangladesh reaffirms robust brace

Bangladesh has reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights and the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state during a meeting between Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir and Palestinian Ambassador to Bangladesh Yusuf S. Y. Ramadan.

The Palestinian envoy paid a courtesy call on Humaiun Kobir at the Prime Minister’s Office in Dhaka on Thursday morning.

During the meeting, the two sides held cordial and constructive discussions on the historic and brotherly relations between Bangladesh and Palestine, bilateral cooperation, and a range of issues of mutual interest.

Humaiun Kobir reaffirmed Bangladesh’s continued support for the Palestinian people and outlined the country’s position in favour of promoting a just and lasting peace at the international level.

He also reiterated Bangladesh’s firm backing for the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights and its longstanding support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state.

Ambassador Ramadan expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government and people of Bangladesh for their steadfast and longstanding support for the Palestinian cause.

The meeting underscored the close ties between Bangladesh and Palestine and their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and solidarity on issues of common concern.
